There’s a lot of information out there about how to get rid of acne and/or reduce the appearance of acne scars. We know it can be overwhelming, so why don’t you let us take care of it for you? We offer one of the most advanced treatments for acne called the HydraFacial at LUXE Medical Spa in Frisco, Texas. It’s effective and increasingly popular with men and women of all ages and skin types — from celebrities to someone on your block.
What is a HydraFacial?
A HydraFacial takes a typical facial to the next level because it’s a peel, microdermabrasion, and hydration all in one easy, noninvasive procedure. It uses a multistep process to clean skin, unclog pores, and smooth out your skin’s appearance. The handheld device basically vacuums out your pores through the use of vortex technology and signature serums. For example, we use different serums made of glycolic and salicylic acids to dislodge the crud that clogs your pores and causes acne. These serums improve the hyperpigmentation of acne scars.
Unlike a typical facial, which could be painful and leave your skin damaged, the HydraFacial soothes as it works its magic. It’s also customizable, meaning we can tailor it to your specific needs. For example, we use less suction force for sensitive areas of your skin, and we can add or subtract serums based on the results you want to achieve. It will improve your acne but it can also:
- Reduce the appearance of fine lines, wrinkles, and brown spots
- Make your skin smoother and more radiant
- Even out skin texture or tone
Considerations
Here are some factors to take into account as you decide whether to get a HydraFacial:
Precautions
Almost everyone can benefit from the HydraFacial. But if you have a sunburn, rash, or rosacea flareup, it’s best to wait until your skin has healed.
No downtime
There’s no downtime with this medical spa treatment. You can literally get it done in our office over about 30 minutes on your lunch break if you want to. We just ask women not to wear makeup for a few days afterward to give their skin a chance to breathe and rejuvenate.
More than one treatment?
Depending on how bad your acne is, you may need more than one treatment. So, keep this in mind if you’re hoping to improve your appearance for a big event like a wedding, conference, or high-school reunion. Give yourself enough time to look your best.
Don’t suffer with acne one day longer. Book a consultation with one of our skin care specialists by using the online booking tool or by calling 469-215-5576.
